Welcome to Geek Girl Travel! I’m Beth, the aforementioned geeky girl, and I live for travel, photography, fashion and food. I love researching every moment of every trip and want to share that research with you. On my site, you’ll find my favorite tips and tricks, lots of top 10 lists and bucket list moments, my favorite photography spots, my brand of off-the-beaten-path sightseeing. I also have lupus and Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, which means I spend a lot of time researching food. And I love food. I’ll share all of this with you and more! Travel can feel overwheling due to all of the available options in front of you. Before you know it, you’re frozen in indecision. Believe me, I have been there. That being said, don’t let the abundance of options end up meaning you choose to abstain from your adventures. Travel is so very personal, so it made sense to have a space where I can share content inspired and curated from my personal interests and my daily life. For me, this wanderlust is my lifestyle. Ever since I was a young child dreaming about the possibility of exploring the world, it was always my goal to see as much as I could. Drink it all in. Photography

At 5 years old, I fell in love with the art of photography. While on a trip, my grandmother handed me a camera and I ended up taking better photos than any other adult there. That one moment started me on a journey that is such a blessing in my life. What started out as just taking photos became learning to develop my own film. And then using Lightroom and Photoshop to edit my digital photos. Read my Photography posts about my love of being a shutterbug and hopefully learn a little something along the way.
